Hello thanks for clicking onto my blog! I hope I can serve you well here with some simple and easy to digest content.

Now, this isn’t really a recipe, but it is at the same time lol.  I also totally understand that some people are visual or literal, so seeing it in photos along with having it written out can really help you get the job done!  I’ll keep this short and sweet so you can be on your way, making this epic flavour toast combo in no time!  Oh, and if you love a mix of creamy, crunchy textures with a salty hit then you will really enjoy this one 🙂 below is the recipe


  • Sourdough bread loaf
  • Fresh celery stalks
  • Ripe avocado
  • Salt – I like to use celtic, rock or sea salt
  • cracked pepper
  • optional add ons – hot sauce, hemp seeds, sprouts, gherkins, nooch, chilli flakes, chilli jam, honey drizzle etc
  • Toaster – I like to use a toaster press or cast iron press seasoned with olive oil but any old toaster will work of course
  • sharp knife for dicing the celery
  • butter knife for spreading the avocado


  • Slice the sourdough bread and toast it as you like, if you have a toaster/ sandwich press try seasoning (wipe down) with olive oil before toasting, its adds some extra flavour and the right amount of crispiness
  • While toast is cooking grab your celery stalks and wash and dry them well, slice them down the middle lengthways so you have thin long strips then dice them up into small tiny cubes
  • Once toasted add you ripe creamy avocado onto the toast evenly
  • Top it with your diced celery and gentle push the celery down into the creamy avocado
  • Finish with salt and pepper and any other additional toppings
  • ENJOY!
